Periferia Exhibition

Periferia – Forest Art Lab is a multidisciplinary exhibition at the University of Helsinki's Hyytiälä Forest Station, where art and science intersect in a natural setting. Curated by Ulla Taipale, the exhibition showcases works integrated into the station’s buildings, surrounding forest, and peatland, offering insight into environmental research and climate studies. My design concept aimed to reflect this dialogue between man-made art, nature, and science.

For the Periferia exhibition, I created a comprehensive, multidimensional brand experience. This included the full visual identity—logo, original concept illustration, typography, and animations—spanning both physical and digital platforms. From printed brochures, postcards, and banners to the digital website on Squarespace, I ensured consistent design across all mediums. The experience extended to large-scale elements such as a kiosk with a map and flag, providing an engaging, cohesive journey for visitors.
